About us

About Julian

I am a professional tango dancer, teacher, DJ and musician. I taught and performed for 3 years at DNI tango school /company in Buenos Aires. I’ve also taught in the Cologne region of Germany, in Berlin and at many festivals in europe.

Before becoming a professional dancer, I was a jazz musician playing the double bass. As a musician, I have also studied tango music and played in tango orchestras like El Cachivache, performing in Buenos Aires and Europe.

What I like most about tango is the improvisation with the partner, moving in harmony with the music, and understanding the biomechanics that generate our movements.

About... Aurélie

I am a dancer and tango teacher.

I started dancing in France (Jazz, rock, salsa...) and worked as a salsa dancer in China, then I moved to Buenos Aires in 2015 with the idea of becoming a professional tango dancer. I studied mainly at dni tango where I also worked as an assistant at the school. During my training in Buenos Aires, I did everything I could to improve my tango: yoga, physical activity, classes of different tango styles with different teachers, contemporary dance at Ana Frenkel's school etc.

In 2019, we moved to Berlin with Julian where we worked in several schools as well as many festivals in Europe.

What I like most about tango is the connection with my partner and the opportunity to express myself through dance. Beyond dance, I am passionate about tango music, tango lyrics and Argentinean culture.
